What does Oddity offer over hiring freelancers?

Oddity offers the scale of a production company with the intimacy of a trusted freelancer. You won’t be handed off after you sign - you’ll work directly with our core team day in, day out. That means real continuity, clear communication, and a partner who’s across your brand and your goals from the start.

Our approach is shaped by over a decade working inside some of Australia’s best in-house teams - from Coca-Cola and Qantas to Eucalyptus. We’ve been on the other side, so we get the pressures creative teams face, the importance of aligning with media buyers, and the need to move fast, test, and learn.

What is your turn around time?

For shoot-only projects, we can hand over the rushes to your internal team on the same day as the shoot.

For projects where we’re managing both production and post, you can usually expect a rushes stringout the next business day, with initial edits following 1–2 days after the shoot, depending on the scope.

We like to share work early and iterate quickly, rather than waiting until everything feels perfect. It helps us learn what’s working sooner, make better decisions together, and get to a stronger final edit faster.

Do you have a roster of directors?

Not in the traditional production company sense, but we do work with a trusted network of directors, creatives and copywriters across different disciplines.

For social-first comedy, we might bring in people embedded in the comedy space. For longer-form documentary work, we’ll look to more traditionally trained documentary directors.

We don’t currently publish a fixed roster, but we’ll recommend the right creative partners based on the project. We’re also happy to collaborate with a client’s internal team or preferred director where it makes sense.

How do you manage communication and revisions?

Every project has a dedicated Notion portal, where we keep meeting notes, production planning, timelines and key project information in one place.

Day-to-day communication happens in Slack, while video reviews and revisions are handled asynchronously through Frame.io, so feedback stays clear, timestamped and easy to action.

Do you do UGC or AI content?

Not directly. We specialise in social-first performance content, long-form video and TVCs.

If you’re looking specifically for UGC or AI-generated content, we’re happy to point you towards trusted partners who specialise in that space.

How much do you cost?

Our pricing depends on the scope, format and level of production, but as a guide, most projects fall into three tiers.

Social-first content for Meta, TikTok or YouTube typically ranges from $5k–$15k.

Longer-form video, including interview-led content, customer stories and testimonials, typically ranges from $15k–$25k.

TVC and BVOD work typically ranges from $30k–$75k+, depending on the creative concept, crew, locations, talent and post-production requirements.

We try to make quoting as quick and transparent as possible, so get in touch. In most cases, we can give you a clear ballpark pretty quickly.
